Letters of Authority: we assist our clients with registering with NRCS and submitting the relevant product information to NRCS in order to get the relevant LOA (Letter of Authority).

Some commercial products must have an LOA before they can be imported into South Africa – such as household electrical goods.

Customs Clearing – we manage and process the information relating to our clients products and submit same to Customs, Port Health and other relevant government authorities as required for the customs clearance process.

Company information/documents required prior to
submitting a customs entry

a) Customs Code: commercial goods intended for re-sale can only be imported by a company registered with SARS as
an Importer; a copy of the SARS letter confirming registration is required
b) VAT Number: if importer is VAT registered and intends to submit a claim for VAT refund; a copy of the VAT
Registration Certificate is required.
c) Company Registration Certificate and confirmation of company physical address.
